It was a wet and wild weekend just south of the Mason Dixon Line and as can usually be expected in such conditions, the results were anything but predictable. Not only was a new champ crowned in the 450 Class, but the 250 Class championship continued its saga. Considering the weather, the Budds Creek crew did an excellent job of taking care of the track and adjusting to the constantly shifting conditions. The Saturday began with mud with threats of impending doom thanks to Hurricane Bill. Then the sun came out and the track looked incredible…until Bill finally arrived and made everyone aware of why the place is called Budds CREEK. With one championship now settled, all eyes will be on the 250 Class title hunt that will continue this coming weekend at Southwick. Until then, here is your TWMX prescribed weekly dosage of Monday Kickstart.

Damn you guys work late. Great job. Its 3 a.m. here on the east coast and the monday kickstart is already up. Anyone know when the 250 moto 2 will air on tv?

Hmmmmmmmmm. You can blame the Monster girl, but the guy in the dog house should know what is right. Maybe they just grabbed her and sent her out and said hold board this way then turn this way and run like hell. Who knows, but i blame someone else cause shes hottttt!!!!

Bravo Oz Reed! Congratulation for the AMA 450 MX title and for the working during all the 2009 season, and I know than is not finished, 11 weekends’ races again for 09?! And why not the GP of Brazil also? 17+12+MXoN+US Open+7 = 38!!!

My personal driver did a good job scaring the crap out of me going 90mph but I still made it back safe and sound while I typed. I gave him a decent tip but now I'm thinking maybe he was overpaid!

I completely disapprove of the comments by the commentary. Monster energy is the biggest and one of the best thing ever to happen to pro motocross the monster girls work hard to keep the monster image going every week rain or shine and the comments made were in very poor taste. It was clear by the replay that she was told by the official to stop in mid stride for some reason which hindered her ability to get off the track in time .. I do believe a apology is in order … and if i was monster i would be pissed.
