Yet another season classic outdoor motocross season is in the books, and Rockstar Makita Suzuki had a great summer, wrapping up both the 250 and 450 championships with Ryan Dungey and Chad Reed. It’s been quite an unpredictable summer filled with plenty of first-time winners, injuries, and of course, amazing racing. Guys like Matt Goerke, Tommy Hahn, Josh Grant, and even Reed himself scored their first wins, while young rookies in the 250 class enjoyed their own success.
And though the book is barely closed on this 2009 season, we are already looking ahead. The 2010 season is sure to offer up more surprises, but at least we still have the Motocross of Nations and the US Open of Supercross to hold us over…

Is it just me, or is this years Motocross of Nations team not all that good?? Dungey is def the fastest on the team, Wiemer is fast, but inconsistant and the same goes for Tedesco.. I really hope we can keep our winning streak..

yeah i agree, but dungy is quick on the 450. Still i think dungy should ride 250 and someone like short, tedesco to ride 450.

Wait a minute…. they had to pick who was fast and available for the team. I think Dungey will do fine on the 450 as hes shown before. Shorty's health problems were a question for the team thats why he wasnt picked. The track is almost supercross like so that should give USA a little advantage, well against everyone but the Australia team. Anything can happen and I think this team has a good chance to win it. They couldnt pick Stewart because he didnt race any outdoors. Can you imagine that team, Stewart, Villy, and Dungey? That would be a smoking team. Any guess on what number DUngey will take now? Im guessing #5. Ricky would probably tell him to take 4 because they are friends but I think its off limits until 2011 and I just dont think anyone will take it out of respect. We havent see 6 in a while either… really there isnt alot to pick from.
