The season came to an unofficial end this weekend in Las Vegas after riders and fans had decended upon the City of Sin. While the big news was James Stewart’s dominating performances on both nights in the 2010 YZ450F’s racing debut, that was just a fraction of the interesting tid bits to come out. As everyone knows, many teams and racing budgets remain very much up in the air at this very late point in the year, so where the US Open has typically been the place for riders and teams to debut new setups, many were instead still working off of 2009 contracts or extended deals. Attendance was definitely down the first night, and Stewart even went so far as to say on the podium that more people need to start showing up or they are going to shut the whole race down. Still it was incredible watching Stewart ride, as he looked extremely comfortable aboard his shiny new machinery. It’s no secret that James took home the big prize of the weekend, but there was a lot more that went down that you probably haven’t hear about. Here is your Monday serving of some nice and juicy Kickstart…with a side of awesome.

I agree. I don't know if it's my computer or what but it takes forever to look at pictures with this new layout.

Go back to the very origianl format of the kickstart it was the best. The slideshow sucked on my computer so this is better.

its so good to see yogi (ezra lusk) back on a bike and in the races. he is probably the best racer who never won a championship! good to have you back yogi!!

just tryin to help, but myspace has a slideshow plugin that's usable on any HTML website. it loads all the pictures in like 30 seconds even on my ghetto oregon dsl. adding captions is simple too. i think you're guys' loader was too graphical. being a flashplayer plugin it was too much. even making it all into a youtube style video with simple picture links to make wallpapers like this is setup would be pimp as shit.

This new way to view pics is driving me insane, the old way was better imo, but I understand everyone wants something different.

Pic 464Y2060 is an Arc Levers perch, not a sunline perch. I have one, plus you can see the "A" on the lever. Give credit where it's due.

they want more people to show up well maybe if they dropped the prices on tickets people would show no one in their right mind is gonna pay 60 bucks to sit in the nose bleed or even 100 for the good seats help the fans out rockstar lower the tickets and we will come till the expect not many people to even bother to show up

This new format is absolutely horrible. People complaining about the old format had slow ass computers. At lease the old format didn't RELOAD the page every time you hit next.
not to mention you have to scroll down everytime to read the caption. I dont see how you guys can think this is better in anyway?

he's right everyone did say that about the slideshow…but it was because of their own ignorance. this way is slow for everyone. im into the slideshow. you can see the upcoming pictures the whole time and only click the ones of the 30 second girls. why are the go go dancers so busted up?

I agree with the new pic format. TWMX always says they have the best website in MX but I strongly disagree… RacerX's is much better. But I LOVE the captions under the photos… it just takes way too long to load. So much so that I don't even bother with it any more after a couple of clicks.

boydome, this format is terrible. less people complained about the old format then this one.. SEE FOR YOURSELF!! half of the comments on this page are about how bad the new format is.. i agree. THE FORMAT PICS ARE TERRIBLE AND ARE DISCOURAGING ME FROM WATCHING THEM!

people need to give up the let jlaw ride movement. he is a great rider and all but has no respect for the sport or himself. personally i am glad to see him gone. let the guys that actually work their butts off race and be in the spotlight!

Ok, does anyone know for certain what Chad Reed is racing next year? I have seen the Kawi video of Reed TESTING the bike and also heard Suzuki was making a counteroffer. Im not asking for speculation I just want to know for sure and where I could go to see some proof. I see Mike Alessi is riding for KTM and I believe Canard is switching to Suzuki with Dungey on 450's. Lots of rumors… just wondering where proof was.

i'm pretty sure they're not the same company, take a look at each company's website. They both have different perches and levers available. 661 owns Sunline.

Hey - Can anyone tell me what the rear fender is that Adam C and the other KX85 has on their bikes in the photo number 47? It's definitely not the stock rear fender…..it looks sick and I need some help figuring it out. thanks.

Please, give us the slideshow back! I love the monday kickstart and now I just take a quick glimpse at a few shots, otherwise it literally takes hours! What a waste! Really hope you'll do something!
