Monster Energy’s Tucker Hibbert Nearly Cracks SX Lites Class Top Ten @ St. Louis

CARLSBAD, Calif., (March 5, 2007) — Monster Energy-backed Tucker Hibbert (Motor City Powersports/Yamaha) continues his unprecedented crossover from Winter X Games snowmobile gold to the main events of the world’s premier supercross series — the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series.

This past weekend at St. Louis’ Edward Jones Dome, Hibbert not only made the AMA Supercross Lites class main event, he also nearly cracked the top ten for the first time this season — finishing a solid 11th overall in the highly competitive field.

“I practiced hard during the week and think I got my timing down better than I had in Atlanta, said Hibbert. “I caught a couple breaks, kept mistakes to a minimum and wound up with a descent finish – definitely something positive to build on.

Hibbert made the St. Louis main event with a solid 6th in the talent-stacked first heat race which included Atlanta winner Ryan Dungey, St. Louis winner Ben Townley and multi MX Nationals winner Mike Alessi and his brother Jeff.

Next up for Hibbert is this Friday’s (March 9th) running of the Daytona Supercross By Honda at Daytona International Speedway.

Hibbert is riding Artic Cat sleds and Yamaha dirt bikes this winter. For more information on snocross, check out For supercross, link to
