Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Summer Cup 2012: Cahuilla Creek

The Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Summer Cup wrapped up at Cahuilla Creek, bringing an end to the third series in the debut year of the new racing club.  The late August weather differed from the previous weeks, with much lower temperatures as the heat wave came to an end.  The Cahuilla Creek layout always delivers a challenging track as the day wears on, and the heavy traffic for the final round brought out the normal bumps and chop the track is known for.  Almost 300 entries ensured each class had plenty of competition with tight races in every race through the day.

Every series end brings about a multitude of prize giveaways from the series sponsors, and this race had swag from One Industries, Metal Mulisha, MTA, Bell Helmets, Kal Gard and all of the series sponsors.  The drawings for the prize giveaways kept the line long most of the day as the merchandise was handed out to the series regulars.

Several pro racers came out to hone their skills and vie for the cash prizes in their class, including Kyle Swanson who put in some very fast lap times taking easy moto wins.  Some of our recent profiled riders also were out in full force such as Patrick Hannah, who was riding smooth and regaining speed with his return to racing after an injury earlier in the year.
