Founder David Evans forms sponsorship marketing and affinity partnership firm
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 28, 2004) — Long-time motocross enthusiast David Evans has formed MX EDGE, a Charlotte, N.C.-based sponsorship marketing and affinity partnership agency that will primarily focus on the sport of professional motocross.
Evans is a national leader in the field of institutional asset management and corporate pensions and has directed the financial success of several businesses, including Diversified Investment Advisors, a national pension provider managing more than $50 billion where he recently stepped down as Vice President to focus his full-time attention on MX EDGE.
Evans has excellent working relationships within the motocross industry, and has worked on a part-time basis under the MX EDGE banner since 1999. He has played a key role in the Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki strategic partnership, and had a part in bringing companies such as the The GM Card, and Simple Green to the sport of motocross.
¿I am really looking forward finally directing all of my time, energy, and enthusiasm into creating successful corporate partnerships within this great sport,¿ said Evans. ¿Our approach is to utilize flash technology on mxedge.com where we direct corporate prospects for an introduction to our clients and the sport. We have found this to have a powerful and immediate impact verses the send us a proposal approach,¿ added Evans.
MX EDGE enjoys a blue chip roster of clients including Kawasaki Professional Racing, Next Level Sports Management, Pro Circuit, Troy Lee Designs, and Team Motosport Outlet. Julien Booth, an expert in institutional asset management with a focus on strategies for affluent individuals and corporate investors, has joined Evans as a partner in the firm.
