Michael Young and Kris Keefer have formed a supercross team called Team Competitive Edge MX Park/TheMotoShow.com. Michael and Kris will be racing the 16-round THQ AMA Supercross Series—125 West and the 250 class in the East.
“It’s a unique team, being each of us is a test rider for two different rival magazines,” said Keefer, who tests for Dirt Rider while Young rides for TWMX.
“I am really excited for the 05 season, we have a lot of support from the guys at Competitive Edge MX park, TheMotoShow.com, and Answer Racing/Pro Taper and a lot of other people. I Think it is a great thing for our sponsors also because we get so much exposure from Transworld and Dirt Rider,” says Young.
They will also be riding two different bikes: on the West Coast Keefer will be riding the all-new KTM 250F, and Young will be aboard a CRF250R out of John Burr Cycles.
Competitive Edge MX Park, the brand new track in Hesperia, California, and Dr. Bodnar and Eric Elrod of The Moto Show have stepped in to help this team take off for 2005.
