WHAT IT IS: The Crowbar is the latest and greatest in Oakley’s MX eye protection arsenal, and features the new rigid O Matter strap connection system for improved fit.

HITS: There’s no disputing Oakley’s name and near flawless reputation in the world of motocross goggles, so to waste your time telling you that the new Crowbar is extremely comfortable and durable would be pointless. But…I guess we just did it anyway. Seriously, the Crowbar fits amazingly well, as the new O Matter strap connection helps to balance and distribute face pressure across the entire frame, thus contouring to a near perfect fit. Helping matters even more, the triple-layer face foam provides padded comfort, great moisture wicking properties, and an awesome seal. The lightweight, flexible O Matter chassis facilitates an increased wide-angle lens size compared to Oakleys of the past, so the visual range is better than ever. And as usual, the lenses feature great clarity thanks to their scratch-resistant Lexan material, and block out 100% of unwanted UV light. Rounding out the package, each pair of Crowbars comes equipped with Oakley’s laminated tearoff system with a seven-pack of tearoffs, as well as a removable O Matter nose guard.

MISSES: Changing lenses in the new Crowbar chassis can be a tricky endeavor, often resulting in heavily fingerprinted lenses.
