FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Fraser, MI, April 18, 2007. Extremity Events Network, Inc. will be closing early bird registration for the 2007 O&P Extremity Games, eX2, on May 31, 2007.
The O&P Extremity Games is an extreme amateur sporting competition for individuals, 13 years and older, living with limb loss or limb difference. The event allows participants to demonstrate skill, persistence and passion while competing for cash and other prizes – proving Theres No Replacement for the Competitive Spirit. The inaugural 2006 O&P Extremity Games rocked with over 500 participating athletes, sponsors, spectators and volunteers. Participation is expected to at least triple in 2007.
The first O&P Extremity Games was a landmark event and surpassed our expectations. The athletes were amazing and, definitely, defied any preconceived conceptions of their abilities. We look forward to seeing all the returning athletes as well as a lot of new faces at eX2, commented Eric Robinson, president of College Park Industries, founding sponsor of the O&P Extremity Games. Weve expanded the number of events and divisions to make this years event even more exciting then 2006. We look forward to seeing everyone in Florida.
eX2 takes place July 19-21, 2007 at the Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, FL. The expanded event includes skateboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing, BMX biking, mountain biking, Moto-X, kayaking, and surfing. Many of the judged competitions contain gender and experience-level breakout divisions for a total cash purse over $45,000, in addition to other non-cash prizes.
