LEATT CHEST PROTECTOR ADVENTURE PRO
SIZES: 110–220 lbs.
-CE approved EN 14021 front and EN 1621-2 level 2 highest CE approval back protector using SaS-TeC development on Adventure Pro
-Close fitting allows for over or under the jersey use
-Made of extremely tough HDPE and washable Biofoam
-Front and rear removable plates allow brace to fit close to body, as it should
-Adjustable arm and chest straps for great fit
-Removable shoulder and upper arm guards
-Fits riders from approx. 50-100kg
WHAT WE LIKE
-Fits comfortably and doesn’t move around, even on our skinny test riders.
-The Leatt Brace can be worn with the Adventure Pro without hindering the fit of the protector.
-Straps remain buckled and closed.
-Can fit both under and over a rider’s jersey.
-Removable arm guards and shoulder cups are an added plus for riders that prefer a minimalist approach when it comes to chest protectors.
-BraceOn elastic straps on shoulders do a good job at holding the Leatt Brace in place.
-Can be used with or without a Leatt Brace, thanks to the removable plastic panels on the front and rear.
WHAT WE DIDN’T LIKE
-Some riders felt that even though the plastic can be removed, the foam on the back still causes the Leatt Brace to sit higher than it would if worn without the Adventure Pro.
-Some of the smaller or skinner riders were left wanting a bit more adjustability out of the straps.
-We really wish it came in more than just black/yellow.
WHAT WE REALLY THINK
Here at TransWorld Motocross, we have always been strong proponents for neck braces; however, wearing one usually makes equipping yourself with a chest protector rather uncomfortable. With the design and fit of the Adventure Pro, Leatt has successfully created a very protective chest protector that is designed to function with the Leatt Brace—something that we have been wishing for since the Leatt Brace was introduced.
