WHAT WE LIKE
-The SE3 is by far, the most comfortable TLD helmet, ever, and certainly one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slipped on our heads, period. It’s almost hard to believe how much different it feels than the SE2.
-The cheek pads feature a quick-release system for easy medical staff helmet removal in the event of an injury. The SE3 becomes the third high-end helmet to offer this feature, along with Shoei and Arai.
-Did we say that the SE3 was comfortable?
-The SE3 flows a considerable amount of air, which is much appreciated on a hot day.
-The removable liner is luxurious, and remains super plush, wash after wash.
-The large eye-port of the SE3 offers excellent peripheral vision, and can accommodate even the largest of goggles.
-The helmet comes with a top-quality helmet bag and a spare visor.
WHAT WE DIDN”T LIKE
–While the large eye-port allows a massive amount of air to flow through and provides great peripheral vision, it also allows plenty of roost to find its way towards your face. We always wear goggles equipped with a nose guard when riding in the SE3.
WHAT WE REALLY THINK
The new Troy Lee Designs SE3 helmet is one of our favorite helmets at TransWorld Motocross. Featuring great looks, top-notch construction, a great fit, and unparalleled comfort, the SE3 is a great choice when shopping for a premium motocross helmet.
