Qualified – Practice Is Over In Houston

Practice has concluded inside Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, and in spite of the track being one of the more challenging ones of the season, everyone made it through safely and will be competing in the night show.
In the 250 class, Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin turned in the quickest lap time in the second practice session with a time of 52.021. Behind him was current points leader GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn with a time of 52.453. Third went to Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s fill-in rider Tyler Bowers with a time of 53.199.
In the 450 class, Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey clocked the fastest lap with a 51.202. Finishing just behind him, though, was Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard with a time of 51.570. Third quickest was Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart with his time of 51.619.
