Privateer Team Cool Air Racing’s Rider Kyle Tobin secured the teams FIRST number 1 plate in the Pro Lites Class at round 5 of the Australian Motocross Series, held at Murray Bridge in Adelaide on the weekend.
Pro lites race 1 saw Cool Air Racing’s USA rider Kyle Tobin come from the back steam rolling his way through the pack finishing in second position. Race 2 saw Kyle getting a much better start, with time on his side Kyle picked off the top runners one at a time. With 10 minutes to go Kyle was in the lead and at the chequered flag was 22 seconds in front of second position. Cool Air Racing Kyle Tobin was ecstatic with his first place in race 2 and overall 1st place for round 5 of the series.
Kyle said after the race I was very happy with how the race went. It is great to make Team Cool Air Racing and sponsors happy with this result. I am really looking forward to getting some more wins in the next 5 rounds.
In the Pro Open’s class Cool Air Racing’s Troy Carroll secured equal 3rd Place, but was delegated to 4th on last race finish position.
Pro open race 1 saw Troy come out of the gate mid pack and riding well unfortunately for troy a stomach virus caused him to loose a lot of his energy and also fighting with fourth he finished the race in a good 5th position. Race 2 saw Troy again getting a good start and he was able to stay with third, until all his energy was gone and he settled for 4th. Troy’s great effort when he was not feeling the best was well deserved and equal 3rd place was fantastic.
Troy had this to say ” I was really happy with the way the team preformed today. My results are getting better every weekend and I feel I am gaining momentum every race. I would like to thank the Cool Air Racing team for all the hard work and everyone associated with Team Cool Air Racing. Now I am looking forward to Toowoomba, as I want my first podium.
Team Owner Kevin Crutcher “After 5 months in forming Cool Air Racing what a great day for the team, my company, my wife Sheree and family and our great sponsors. My team has worked very hard and I am very proud of my riders getting these great results. Number 1 plate and equal 3rd in round 5 of the Australian Motocross series is just what the doctor ordered, what a boost to the team and riders. I am just over the moon with the result. After Newcastle with the good results there it just fired my Cool Air Racing team up and I new it would be only a matter of time before people sat up and noticed us.
Again I would like to thank all my riders, team and staff and all Cool Air Racing’s great Sponsors, without them we would not have a professional team.
