Swap ran into Sean Hamblin today at Elsinore, while Hamy was aboard a 110cc bike…but only while watching some of his friends ride. After dislocating one of his elbows during a crash at Budds Creek, Sean has been making regular rehab visits to Doc G’s office. While the treatments have helped a lot, his left arm is still extremely swollen and tender.
Sean said, “It’s tough, because obviously I want to race. I was in fourth in points after Southwick, and have already dropped to seventh. But I need to be smart and do the right thing.”
At this point, Sean’s still holding out hope that he can race this weekend, but will make his final decision in the next day or two.
