Spy Hires New Motocross Team Manager; Creates New Position For MX, BMX, & MTB Segment Manager

CARLSBAD, CA (1/6/04) ¿ Spy Optic, Inc. officially announces the employment of John Kuzo as the new Motocross Team Manager.  Kuzo will serve as the point of contact and support for the brand’s professional motocross riders. 

Kuzo concurrently held the position of Scott USA’s Motocross Manager from 2001 to 2004 while pursuing a B.A. in Business from Pennsylvania’s Bloomsburg University.  Accustomed to traveling and working on the motocross circuit, Kuzo will attend all professional motocross events on behalf of Spy.

In addition to Kuzo’s new appointment, Spy also reveals that Phil Tintsman has been promoted to the newly created position of Motocross, BMX, and Mountainbike Segment Manager.  Tinstman, a former ESPN X Games gold medalist mountain biker, will continue to handle all BMX and mountain bike team and marketing duties and will serves as the in-house contact for overall motocross marketing. In addition, Tintsman will directly manage all grassroots and amateur motocross athletes.
