Jason Weigandt Moves Into the Booth for 2004-2005

AURORA, III. (December 21, 2004) – Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division announced today that Supercross LIVE!, on supercross.cc.com, is back for the 2004-2005 THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series.

After five successful years, Supercross LIVE! produced record-breaking numbers in 2003-2004 with more than a half-million listeners each Saturday night. Beginning in 2005, newcomer Jason Weigandt will take over for Chad Damiani as host along with long-time host Jim Holley.

Holley, a former factory Yamaha rider in the ’80s, became the first-ever world supercross champion in 1985. He has been a member of the Supercross LIVE! webcast team for the past five seasons and has been around the sport for some 30 years.

Weigandt, who works in public relations for Racer Productions in West Virginia, has been around the sport for more than 20 years. He is also an announcer for the outdoor motocross nationals, amateur national championships at Loretta Lynn’s and the GNCC series.
