Lincoln, NE (November 30, 2004) – Tamer Motorsports was invited by the promoters to bring our new team to England. Eric Nye and Jake Martin competed at the Belfast, Ireland Supercross held at the Odyssey Arena November 27-28 and will continue to the Switzerland Supercross on December 3, 2004 at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre in Geneva.
Eric Nye rode the 125cc class in Ireland and finished 6th overall in Friday¿s events with Mike Brown winning, Schnell second and Nunn in third. Eric Sorby rounded out the top four. Nye finished on the podium on Saturday evening with Brown again winning, Nunn in second and Nye in third. Schnell rounded out the top four. ¿Eric rode awesome and is adapting to this team great. To beat Schnell and Sorby and run with Brown is great news for our West Coast Supercross campaign,¿ stated team manager Dane Hillery, ¿and Jake Martin performed well on the 250cc machine with an eighth overall, this after a five month hiatus from riding due to knee surgery.¿
Eric Nye continues, ¿I am very pleased with the effort Kevin and Dane are putting forth to establish this team. The entire team is behind me as a rider and I am excited for Anaheim in January.¿
