Tarah Gieger Injury Report

Tarah is on the mend.  She was in southern California for the Glen Helen race and to meet with new sponsors, as well as take part in an ad for a major sponsor for her 2006 season.  Look for the ad in the December issue of your favorite motocross magazine.

As you may recall, Tarah received a fracture to the base of her skull, as well as chipped her C1 during a crash at the Washugal round of the Women¿s Motocross Association (WMA).  At the time, she was tied for second overall.  Ultimately, she missed the final round of the WMA, and received fifth overall.

Tarah saw the doctor just prior to coming out to California, who informed her that she would be wearing the neck brace for another six weeks.  Four down, two to go.

She will be at the upcoming US Open to again meet with existing and potential sponsors for next year, as well as just plain relaxing and having fun.  Tarah is looking forward to getting back on the bike and preparing for 2006.  She is also longing for the day she can get back to her other passion, surfing.

Tarah would like to thank all of her sponsors: Yamaha, Alpinestars, Richardson¿s RV, PPG, Etnies, Bluestarrmx.com, Oakley, FMF, N-Style, K&N Filters, The Agents, Kicker, Dunlop, KMC Wheels, O’GIO, 909, LakeView Sports Plus, Motorex Oils, Galfer Brakes, Sunstar Sprockets ProX Pistons & Clutches, Topar Triple Clamps, Independent, Fastway Footpegs, Pro Clean 1000, TekBolt, Carbon Fiber Works, Motorsportsproducts.com, Skaterade, Cti2, Sponsorhouse.com, Motocross Adventures, Moto Tassinari, and Deluge Water.
