They’ve done it again! Team USA, in what some might call an upset, successfully defended their Motocross of Nations title in an crowd-silencing performance. After a nail-biting day of racing, it came down to final final MX1/Open class moto, as it usually does, and just about everything that could happen, did happen. It really came down to three teams: Italy, France, and the U.S. of A. Since the teams get to drop a score at the end, it was actually quite difficult to predict any sort of outcome. But, when all was said and done, Ryan Dungey, Jake Weimer, and an veteran Ivan Tedesco held up the Chamberlain trophy alongside team manager Roger DeCoster. So, here is how it all went down at Autodromo di Franciacorta in Northern Italy…

MX1/MX2
On the world stage, 20 countries lined up for the first race of the 2009 Motocross of Nations. With the top gate pick and his home crowd cheering him on, Antonio Cairoli of Team Italy blasted out to an early lead with Australia’s Chad Reed right on his rear fender. Reed proceeded to chase Cairoli the entire moto in what he later said was “a really fun race.” Meanwhile, Spain’s Jonathan Barragan and USA’s Ryan Dungey moved in behind the two frontrunners. Dungey made relatively quick work of Barragan and ran the better part of the moto by himself; Cairoli and Reed had opened up a gap on the rest of the pack, and Dungey eventually dropped Barragan.
More than once, it looked as though Reed would make the pass on Cairoli, but the Italian Stallion held him off with an excellent ride of his own. Clement DeSalle of Belgium got around Barragan as well and bared down a Dungey late in the race, but the 250 Motocross National Champion held his ground and came away with the third-place finish.
RESULTS (Top 20)
1. Antonio Cairoli (FRA)
2. Chad Reed (AUS)
3. Ryan Dungey (USA)
4. Clement DeSalle (BEL)
5. Marvin Musquin (FRA)
6. Josh Coppins (NZL)
7. Tommy Searle (GBR)
8. Jake Weimer (USA)
9. Gareth Swanepoel (RSA)
10. Ken Roczen (GER)
11. Billy MacKenzie (GBR)
12. Jonathan Barragan (ESP)
13. Tyla Rattray (RSA)

USA! USA! USA!
I thought for sure Australia would have done better
October 4th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
Bynre had a gnarly crash
October 4th, 2009 at 6:09 pm
Congratulations Team USA! And congratulations to Andreas Hultman for two top 20 results for Team Sweden.
October 4th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
Congratulations to USA ! strongest with the rookies too!
October 4th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
…but what a pity for Cairoli!!! greatest in moto1 ……damn……
October 4th, 2009 at 6:30 pm
Did Dungey train long and hard on a 450 bike?
What a great improvement from moto1 to moto3!!
October 4th, 2009 at 6:30 pm
Thats why they call it racing fellas… Congratulations Ryan, Jake and Ivan… Really, you were a great team there. When you look at our team I didnt
October 4th, 2009 at 6:30 pm
I didnt see a more solid 3 man team then ours
October 4th, 2009 at 6:37 pm
There are like 5 better riders than this years team, and they still won it. thats for those who say europe has better riders
October 4th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
Congrats to Dungey Weiner and Tedesco! Thats the way to show those smelly Euros!
October 4th, 2009 at 7:20 pm
The fastest man on track this day, was Italian David Philippaerts, posting a time of 1:58.794, over 1 second faster then Cairoli and Reed that was second & third fastest.
To bad that Cairoli was involved in the first turn pile-up, it would have been fun to see him run the last race as well.
October 4th, 2009 at 7:24 pm
They won because France and Italy had back luck. Cairoli,Paulin and Philipaerts were faster than Dungey. Philipaerts smoked Tedesco in moto2 like he was a schoolboy. 6 seconds in 2 laps hahahaha
October 4th, 2009 at 7:51 pm
Remind us all please… how did they do? I mean, did the kool aid they drank from the Chamberlain trophy taste as good as Dungey's?
October 4th, 2009 at 7:56 pm
God exists and has given you a miracle! great Italy!! fortune is missed not the value
October 4th, 2009 at 8:10 pm
yes but it was practically given too them with all those crashes
October 4th, 2009 at 8:12 pm
How about all of the rest that were beating usa until a crash
October 4th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
Yes but how can he show them when he didn't even race them we all know that if it weren't for those crashes you would have got your ass kicked europe was the better side
October 4th, 2009 at 8:42 pm
Why doesn't everyone stop crying!! U.S.A won. You can't change that. Wrecks are going to happen!!!
October 4th, 2009 at 8:52 pm
if cairoli is so good then he would of got the holeshot and won, and usa is the best , could u imagine if we had villopoto,js7, and dungey we would kill so yes usa is the best
October 4th, 2009 at 8:54 pm
Actually they did race them. The Europeans crashed, and the Americans didn't.. Therefore team USA was actually the better side.
October 4th, 2009 at 8:59 pm
Wrecking is part of racing its one of the risks. USA had the same risk of wrecking as Europe and they came out on top. Stop crying that we won on a technicality we've brought it home 5 years in a row so we must be doing something right.
October 4th, 2009 at 9:06 pm
explain qualifying mx 1 qualifying mx 2 qualifying mx3 moto 1 moto 2 when they raced without crashes usa had nothing
October 4th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
how many times has USA won the des nations? enough said.
October 4th, 2009 at 9:09 pm
ok you won but it doesn't change the fact that europe had the better riders today and usa had nothing on them
October 4th, 2009 at 9:11 pm
chupenme el pico, wnes se creen el culo del mundo
October 4th, 2009 at 9:13 pm
Ok so if everyone was in good health and rode the out doors and we sent Dungey, Villipoto, and Stewart we would have dominated Europe without trying. Saying who had the better riders is stupid. If they went off of who was the best riders and had the fastest lap times there would be no point to the race. It's a race because anyone can win (or lose).
October 4th, 2009 at 9:23 pm
October 4th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
no.
October 4th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
Anyone who tries to take anything away from team USA winnning by saying we only won on a technicality are delusional and poor losers. The fact is that we had a team that was subpar compared to what it could have been (JS7 , RV2, Dungey) and we still won just goes to show the level American MX is at…Europeans are all the same, far superior to Americans until we shut you up, then we get nothing but excuses. WAH WAH WAH
October 4th, 2009 at 9:33 pm
villopoto is out, js7 james on the couch and dungey +3 sec at lap! coglione! usa was the best was!
October 4th, 2009 at 9:36 pm
Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.
HAHA!
October 4th, 2009 at 9:39 pm
thats is excatly right all of team usa rode their butts off wiemer rode hard. and he did very well. euros are just making excuses thats is it, its done its over. there is nothing u can do about it now except go home and try again next year, and if they think they are that good then come over here and race here where the races are more intense and more money over here, the only euros that have balls are cp377, ts123, tr411. they killed over seas and look at them now all except one have had average years cuz they all had to step there game up cuz motos are intense over here
October 4th, 2009 at 9:47 pm
u got lucky they crashed but we all know you couldn't have done it if it weren't for the crash and yesterday all you could do is make excuses about gate picks so stop trying to act like you don't and if the 'motos are so intense over there' how come cairoli, phileaparts , musquin etc. beat all your riders? plus the winner of your 'intense' championship, reed, was also beaten by all of them
October 4th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Usa Owns Europe, AGAIN!
October 4th, 2009 at 9:55 pm
ethnocentrism all euros have it, if u dont know the def. look it up. they all think they are the best.
October 4th, 2009 at 9:56 pm
why is mitch paton in a wheel chair
October 4th, 2009 at 10:00 pm
ok this is stupid im all US but how does usa's 3-3-1 beat frances 1-1-5 it just doesnt make any sence to me i really hope that this sport isnt becoming fixed like nascar and football i want really racing not money thrown under the table to win races also if someone can explain to me how they score this event would help out my understanding as well
October 4th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
byrne had a huge crash n oz deffo deserved a better result..but britain had shit luck..tommy searle was by far the quickest mx2 rider and shud of had 4th..caught n passed the world champ musquin..checed out but later made a small error on the last lap..we deserved a poduim for sure!!
October 4th, 2009 at 10:08 pm
all of our top guys are either hurt or not racing outdoors. that is one onnnnnlllyyy reason chad reed won that championship. he got beat by tommy hanh for christ sake. if ma800 rv2 js7 jg33. i guess get lucky once n a blue moon with a gifted rider like ac222 like honestly what other country produces more top riders the usa?
October 4th, 2009 at 10:14 pm
im glad that we won with a "subpar" team. the taste of victory is that much sweeter when you win with guys that didn't have the fastest lap times, but when push came to shove they got their asses into that first corner and pinned it. they did what they had to do and won. when it counted, during the motos! cry all you want but until you guys stand atop that podium as often as we have, piss off! well done gentlemen, today, you are the best motocross racers in the world.
October 4th, 2009 at 10:30 pm
cairoli took out reed in the pileup, the 250 italy guy took out byrne and himself by drifting over the jump. 35th gate pick? 8th gate pick? u guys had 1st gate pick, we still won, if it wasnt for the preseason crashes of villopoto, mike alessi, all the unlucky crashes of the other teams wouldnt have matered. its part of motocross, DEAL WITH IT… for the 5th year in a row!… for the 20th time in a dominating history of motocross!!!
October 4th, 2009 at 10:33 pm
loser, grow some balls and say what u need to say, cussing in italian? we just beat the best ever italian team with our not so best team. eat it.
October 4th, 2009 at 10:38 pm
true, i wanted US to win, but if someone else took it, i wanted it to be oz cause theyre stillAMA. cant believe byrne got up, i thought they were gonna have to red flag it. guy is togh, he even tried to race the last moto but ended up pulling out.
October 4th, 2009 at 11:03 pm
Who the f&*k are you? you just a foreign piece of s@#t? USA deserved that win they rode their asses off and to finish first you've gotta first finish.
October 4th, 2009 at 11:22 pm
I want to see a whole series of world competition. everyone has great riders and it would make for awesome racing to see them go a it on a weekly basis!
October 4th, 2009 at 11:34 pm
Stewart, Villopotto, Alessi, etc. didnt want to embarass europe again so they decided to give second string a chance. AMERICA
October 4th, 2009 at 11:40 pm
oh and they won? I missed the part where they changed the rules that if someone fell off their bike they restarted the race. I just thought that was part of racing. I guess ghandi does know all. Oh yeah and if you look, 1 person from another country might have been up there but their teamate was up as far as both of Americas
October 4th, 2009 at 11:42 pm
I know because the better riders won the Des Nations and the best rider won the overall single championship right?
Im jealous, someday I hope I can make as many excuses as the rest of the world, until then I guess the USA will just keep winning the Des Nations
October 4th, 2009 at 11:43 pm
Sore loser little girl trying to take Tedesco out. Thats not how true champions do things. Thats why we win over and over. They should retire America from this race. Lucky Villopotto didnt come out and lap everyone on a 250f!
October 4th, 2009 at 11:45 pm
exactly… its sad that some people just have bitterness and soreness in their lives and cant stand the fact that the USA has and has had the better riders for a while. Heck, even though the GOAT is racing trucks he could still come back and whoop everyone else I bet.
October 4th, 2009 at 11:47 pm
cause he cant walk and he would always be late if he army crawled everywhere.
October 4th, 2009 at 11:54 pm
Villopoto and James would have made this race boring. Dungey and Tedesco and Weimer did a great job and made me proud to have them represent the USA. Im sure next year the rest of the world will have a whole other number of excuses to come up with. Until then, we'll just enjoy the trophy.
October 5th, 2009 at 12:03 am
Europe has nothing on us. They has their best chance this year to maybe pull of the win……and they chocked again! lol….i guess they cant ride under real perssure! we can step up under pressure and that what make THE DIFFERENCE!!!!
October 5th, 2009 at 12:06 am
Maybe next year euros?? ……o wait…lol…its in our country nexy year….forget about it!!! you euors will get smoked again! we will proably put a 1 mintue gap on you here in our own back yard!!
October 5th, 2009 at 12:21 am
He may of had a clean hot fast lap….so what! do that for 30min+2…..DID he win…..nope!
October 5th, 2009 at 12:28 am
come on guys , every one knows that Villapoto , JS , and Alessi are way faster and if 2 of them will be on a team with dungey will be a real strong team , now i have to say cariolli is a super fast rider as well as roczen and the mx 2 champion they are real good riders , Italy had a super strong team , and france its a shame thats pourcel brothers do not race as well , USA is the country that produce more talent every body knows that , but its great to see some riders overseas with so much talent i will say , REED its a great riders , PHILAPERTS ; MUSQUIN,CARIOLLI, ROCSEN ,and DESALLE are super good riders that they can be top riders over US , so stop fighting USA won they make the best of it , and the other countries show alot of talen REMENBER IS NOT USA AGAINST THE WORLD hahaha .
congrats USA
October 5th, 2009 at 12:40 am
Australia would of done better if we didn't have 2 crash outs. Reed was the fastest man for sure just bad luck!
October 5th, 2009 at 2:16 am
Non abbiamo nemmeno portare i nostri migliori e piangere come un bambino, e giuro, come un bambino a scuola a perdere la nostra seconda squadra? Si vergogna di portare i vostri connazionali.
October 5th, 2009 at 2:23 am
Haha I knew it! yesterday there was nothing but haters lipping off about team USA! Today they have to shut their mouthes. Congratulations Team USA! Job well done!
October 5th, 2009 at 2:28 am
1st crashing is part of racing, it don't matter how fast you are if you can't finish. Just ask James Stewart. 2nd it's a team race, individuals don't really matter. 3rd they were not our best, but damn good. as for the hand me down champion Reed, he can never defend. We'll see how big your mouth is next year in colorado.
October 5th, 2009 at 2:33 am
nothing but a big fat win, you idiot!!!! Keep crying about it too, i love to here you wine!
October 5th, 2009 at 2:36 am
dungey put it down…think j-law couldv'e pulled that off???? nice job weimer and tedesco…seemed like weimer felt bad he didn't win his class….but he rode good and he should be proud…
October 5th, 2009 at 2:46 am
haha…that was hilarious….nice comment….that race was the best race of all time!!!! LOL
October 5th, 2009 at 3:50 am
they don't calculate overall's, they added up each riders overall position and turned them into points. we went 3,7,3,25,1,7. They throw out the worst one, then ad them all up. we had 21 points overall.
October 5th, 2009 at 4:14 am
Yeah…had nothing on them but first place right??? You are stupid
October 5th, 2009 at 7:16 am
Cheers not only to our team, but to "The Man"!!! Most MXdN/MXoN wins of any manager?! My two cents: Best Overall Individual ride of the INTERNATIONAL OLYMPICS OF MOTOCROSS: Danny "Magoo" Chandler, who won all four races of the Trophee Des Nations and Motocross Des Nations in …1982? Honorable Mention goes to Johnny "O'Show" O'Mara on his 125 in Italy. He told David Bailey he wasn't going to shut off, and he didn't.
October 5th, 2009 at 7:25 am
dirtbikedave: I saw Mitch at either High Point or Steel City 10+ years ago and had the nerve to ask him, face-to-face, the same question. No bs: He told me with a straight face that, when he was real little, the rocking horse at the grocery store (25-cent coin-op type) bucked him off and that's why he's in a wheel chair…………….truthfully, I understand he suffered a terrible crash while desert racing years ago. Don't know where or when. If I'm wrong, you fellow old-schoolers fill all of us in.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:27 am
Phillipaerts was faster then Reed, 1.58 lap time in moto 2.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:33 am
Amazingly he made that in lap 17! And thats friggin bad. Probably when he blew by Tedesco in the final lap. Not often you see anybody put down such a fast lap in the end, thats the biggest surprise in MXdN for me.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:34 am
How many European countries has over 300 million citizens? Enough said.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:43 am
Any real racer can tell you that it hurts a little bit inside if there is faster riders on the track. Trust me. Yeah USA won as a team but a USA rider (not team) didn't put down the fastest practice time in any class. A USA rider didn't win any of the qualification races (or even made the fastest lap in these qualifiers). A USA rider didn't win in any of the classes in moto 1 and 2 (or put down the fastest lap in any class). That leaves us to the third moto where everyone knew what happened. So yeah, USA won! Congrats.
But USA were not fastest.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:47 am
Roczen made the fastest mx 2 lap time in moto 1 though
October 5th, 2009 at 9:03 am
RD and RD both deserve congratulations. The former B rider can hold his head high, as he was THE BEST IN THE WORLD in the last moto, leading his team to victory. I can only imagine what is going through Dungey's mind right now. I'd bet gratitude is in his lexicon…
October 5th, 2009 at 9:28 am
well, it was definitely fun to see the us boys riding against the euros. congratulations usa.
nevertheless, I have to praise team germany since they have been underdogs. such a great race with max, daniel and especially ken!!
October 5th, 2009 at 10:33 am
Europe has better riders in an area the size of america. All of the countries over there are smaller so they have a fewer chance of having three good riders from one country
October 5th, 2009 at 11:19 am
wow get off this board
October 5th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
What in the world does that have to do with motocross??? That is a real dumb question. Every country brings 3 riders…not there whole motocross stock. Euros are dumb
October 5th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Hi, I cant understand how to add your site in my rss reader. Can you Help me, please
October 5th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
greece is the best team!
October 5th, 2009 at 3:12 pm
I wanted team usa to win (I'm canadian). It was Cairoli's fault if he crashed at the start because he didn't let off, so USA beat Italy straight up. As for france though, their fastest rider crashed because others crashed in front of him, so that was a bad luck and he couldn't do anything about it. If it didn't happen, france would have won, but motocross comes down to luck sometimes. So this year USA was lucky to win this, unlike other years when they had their best riders. Too bad for france because next year villopoto and maybe stewart will be back.
October 5th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
Who is the reporter??????__Antonio Cairoli is Italian not France…..in your race report Result top 20!!!!!__
October 5th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
"guest" that was the best thing i have read so far, i am canadian and i dont even know what place we got but i know dean wilson did awsome, i think he got like 17th or something, but the usa just kicked ass, even tho they might not have bin the faster ones, they were defintly the smarter riders!
October 5th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
but they were the smarter riders, good example of when james bubba stewart was young and a cocky kid, when he first came in to the 250 class he was probuably almost one of the fastest guys, but he would go so fast that he would always crash and wouldnt finish or win without crashing, and now he is a smarter rider and wins, so not always the fastest riders win, its just part of racing!
October 5th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
wow, get off the webstire
October 5th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
and by the way retarted i believe they all did race aka they were all on the starting gate together and they all took off at the same time… its not dungeys or tedescos fault that they maybe had a smarter gate pick or plan than the rest of the riders who crashed. stope being so god damn jealous and just now that the USA won and they will for years to come..
October 5th, 2009 at 4:29 pm
il team usa ha vinto, ma i piloti più veloci sono CAIROLI e Philippaerts
October 5th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
USA has the fastest 3 or 4 riders in the world. James Stewart in first place by far
October 5th, 2009 at 5:43 pm
I can not believe that you are complaining. This years MXoN was some of the most exciting races in years, all the top teams had great riders and it was amazing to watch. As a fans of the sport we have been blessed to see great riders like Carmichael, Everts, Stewart, Cairoli, Villipoto, Choidi and now Dungey & Musquin. I also don't like the way you insult Chad Reed. Reed is one of very few riders who have beaten James Stewart . The US did not complain about gate pick, they just got the job done. As far as crashes go Phileaparts took Tedesco out and he recovered to 7th place. Ghandi you should enjoy the great racing that all the riders provided for their countries and fans instead of complaining why your team lost.
October 5th, 2009 at 5:46 pm
MX of Nations proved again that the best race in the states. I for one would like to see cairoli or phillipaerts come over and race as they might get a dose of reality that the American racing scene is ultra intense from lap one. How many times have we witnessed JS7 or RV2 fall on lap one and still finish in the top 3 at the end of the moto? Time and time again, those from outside the US come here and try to become national champions, yet very few have succeeded. So until next year, read it, learn it, and live it…..Team USA is the Champions and let the World bring their best again next year to the mile high city to watch America stand and deliver yet again!
October 5th, 2009 at 6:21 pm
Congrats USA ! The race was like a Kriminal story ! Thats racing, A/B-team is no question, summary is a credit all three rider ! The "smelly" Euros is absolutly unfair ! How big is America ?? How many Country's had Euro ??? I hope no all MX Fans in America have the same argument !! By from Germany to all MX Fans in USA !
October 5th, 2009 at 6:31 pm
enough of that pig talk
October 5th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
gt
October 5th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
this will funny next year when the fastest americans are riding. no hate on these 3
October 5th, 2009 at 8:10 pm
ok if it would have been us vs euro, then euro would have won mx2 and open, us would win the mx1 class.
but it's not continent vs continent it's country vs country and then usa is the best country. but please stop say that us smoked europe because they didn't.
October 5th, 2009 at 8:18 pm
you europeans are a bunch of fools!…i went to the des nations in 07 when villopoto smoked the hell out of your tool bag cairoli and everyone else on a 250f ..im sorry did you read that right…on a 250F …your riders are garbage..no one could even touch him….and who came in second that moto and was in dead last to start…? RC… so your telling me if we had villopoto …on a 450 …hah… and stewart both on the team this year we still wouldve lost if cairoli didnt wreck..hahahah…. and the fact is we didnt have them this year and your still bitchin…WOW!!!
you might as well just stop talkin in general because no one is no longer listening to you because WE STILL WON…we did it last year …the year before that …and both years before that
October 5th, 2009 at 9:12 pm
do Reed's wins count when bubba crashes? im a bit confused by the sad euro mentality.
October 5th, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Hopefully AMA US national championships have been won by native americans, honor is safe (Pourcel & Reed). LOL !!!
October 5th, 2009 at 9:47 pm
Cairoli The BEST!!!!
October 5th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
way to go bubba you just gave this doucebag a talking point.
October 5th, 2009 at 10:07 pm
in italy
October 5th, 2009 at 10:10 pm
Look at the population in the us vs european countries… America should be the best! In my opinion all the best riders in the world should race the gp`s..
Congratulations to the us team! U got lucky this time, but great effort from the riders… hats off!
Cant wait for next year!!
October 5th, 2009 at 10:56 pm
shouldn't India be the best by that rational?
October 5th, 2009 at 11:00 pm
Lot of good that time did him!
October 5th, 2009 at 11:14 pm
Loser italiano si può succhiare il nostro salata grande american gonadi!
October 5th, 2009 at 11:29 pm
you are an idiot
October 6th, 2009 at 12:06 am
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 6th, 2009 at 12:07 am
LOL !!!!!
October 6th, 2009 at 1:44 am
You should check your facts. Although Pourcel is a great rider and it was great to see him contest the AMA nationals Ryan Dungey is the 2009 champion. Oh yeah he is now the MXoN MX1 Champ too. That puts him right up there with Stewart, Carmichael, and Everts.

those are all good. But what RV2 did at buds creek was a record breaking performance nothing shy of perfection. It will be a long time if ever that will be duplicated.

If qualifying was the race, they wouldn't need a qualifier. As it was, the Americans weren't the best in qualifying when it doesn't count. They did, however, finish the actual race on two wheels ahead of the other riders on this day and earned their victory. Their victory wasn't even the result of one race in which case I would grant you luck, it was the best of three separate races which should have allowed your "better team" to rise to the top. Ahhhh, all of the "if this then that's" in the world won't change the fact that your team lost this day and Team America won.

No riders are bad, USA did what they had to do, they won, lucky or not?! Doesnt matter..
Euros are Not bad riders, Italy was really fast, USA (my favorites) did a good race!
If they won because that someone faster rider at the front crashed or something, yeah so what?
THEY WON, and that what counts, Look at the podium, thats the result! What happend, did happen!
"Its easy to blame and make up excuses After the race"
We all know that, but my hat of to TEAM USA that won, and every other country that did their best..
Be a sportsman guys, throw away the hate !!!!! ITS MOTOCROSS , that we love!
My dream team for 2010 will be, STEWART, VILLOPOTO and the 3rd i dont know yet..
Greetings from sweden
My american friends!

Carioli is itialian so his moto win does'nt help the french team, and his riding over his head and crashing out in moto3 did'nt help the itialians either. Mx is not fixxed Dungy,Tedesco and Weimer rode smart and got the job done. How about Musquin what a great ride that was he should come to the US and give Pourcel fits.

DREAM TEAM? Sebastien and Christophe Pourcel and Marvin Musquin…all French…yes all FRENCH…why? Because 1- they have talent, 2- they have proven to be able to beat JS (one time), Villlopoto (multiple times) and Dungey (multiple times) and 3- they are civilized (unlike the majority of rednecks that populate this sport).
Hope this puts an end to the string of comments on this subject.

Usa, USa, USA!!!! We came, we rode (on their turf), we kicked their butts!! Unfortunate that the other greats wadded it up butt thats racing.. Well done to Ryan Dungey,, "Smoke you all later", got to go now!! Ivan is the go to man for sure…. Great job gutting it out with the French and Italian's.. Our top riders are hurt "butt" we can still send our best, that are apparently, still no match for the WORLD.. Who says it just a race? The world again knows you don't mess with the USA.. props to Jake too..
