Team Red Bull Honda’s Ivan Tedesco phoned the TransWorld Motocross offices today to let us know that he will return to action aboard his factory Honda CRF450R this weekend at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota. “I’ve been back on a bike for two weeks now, and at testing the other day, everyone on the team thought I looked good and back up to speed,” he said.
Tedesco was injured in a crash at the Freestone National in Texas, but withdrew from competition at the Thunder Valley National in Colorado. “Initially, I thought I just sprained my left ankle,” he said. “But after Colorado I went and got it checked, and they found that I tore two ligaments. They weren’t severed, so I didn’t need surgery. I was in an air cast for a bit. I can’t wait to get back to racing!”
Good luck Hot Sauce!
