VISTA, Calif.—DC has named Tim English as the new DC Motocross Sports Marketing Manager. In addition to his current position as DC Surf Sports Marketing Manager, Tim will also be responsible for directing all aspects of the Motocross Team’s marketing efforts. He will continue to build on the strong relationships DC has with each of the seven professional riders on the DC Motocross Team, including Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael, Nate Adams and Jeremy McGrath.
“Tim has more than proven himself as a team manager for the surf team, and the moto team position is just a natural progression for him, said Sean Lake, DC Director of Team Promotions. “His ability to handle team responsibilities and execute team marketing initiatives make him a perfect fit for both the moto and surf programs.
Tim came to DC with extensive experience in all aspects of marketing, including graphic design, retail coordinating and team management. For more than a year he has been a driving force in the development of the DC Surf program, and will continue to demonstrate the same devotion in his management role for all aspects of team marketing, including advertising, photography, filmography and promotions for the motocross team.
“I am excited for all the opportunities that lie ahead and the chance to work with such a strong team of athletes, said Tim. “It’s great to be a part of such a strong program’s growth, and I look forward to adding my ideas and enthusiasm to it.
