Tommy Hofmaster can¿t wait to get back to his roots, Arenacross. He is currently getting a team together to compete in Arenacross. He will be riding Yamahas and running Pro Circuit suspension and motors. He is also getting major support from Motion and Shogun.
Tommy will be racing in the upcoming US Open in Las Vegas on October 7 and 8 in the 250 class. Tommy is using the race to gear up for the upcoming BooKoo Arenacross series. The first race of that series takes place on November 4 and 5, 2005 in Forth Worth, Texas, close to where Tommy resides.
Tommy relocated to Texas to train year-round, as opposed to only being able to train for part of the year when he lived in the Chicago area. He is now in the best shape of his life and has been keeping his skills up by racing in the bigger local events.
Tommy said, ¿I had to take a little time off the bike last year, due to some injuries I sustained at the first round of last season¿s Arenacross, but have been recovering nicely. I kept up my training program, and was able to step up my riding and training at the beginning of summer. I feel great and am really looking forward to racing Arenacross again.¿ Tommy will also be racing in the Supercross Lite class on the East Coast, once the Arenacross season concludes.
