Tonight we feature several guests that are involved in motorcycling and the sport of motocross at various different capacities. We start off with one of the biggest names in Sport bike racing, Erion Honda’s Josh Hayes. It’s Daytona week and he is in Florida right now getting ready to race. Favored to win by many, Josh will be a great interview. Next, we go back to what we know best, Supercross. We will spend some time with a team that’s doing things a little bit differently. Kevin Maret’s Team Cat, SoCal, HMR, FMF has been fairly successful this year and relies on no factory support. The sponsorship they get is similar to how Nascar teams work and we will get into that in- depth. We also will be joined by the riders Erick Vallejo and Jacob Saylor. That will conclude the first hour.
In the second hour we will be hanging out with the host of the popular television show Realtree Roadtrips, Michael Waddell. Michael is a huge motocross fan and plans to do a show in the spring that will somehow combine hunting and dirt bikes. It sounds crazy but we should have some fun finding out more about this. Next we talk with Yamaha of Troy Team Manager, Dave Osterman. With support originally from Honda and then switching to Yamaha, this team has a lot of history. In the years past it has had some issues with management and it needed a breath of fresh air in the program. Dave has taken control and changed almost everything. In the East Supercross Lites Series they have already had some great results this year and currently are sitting third place in points with Branden Jesseman. Dave will be a great interview. In the last segment of the show we will be talking about the evolution of protective gear for motocross. Todd Lentz from EVS will join us and will help explain how being more safe with things like knee braces and neck supports has become fashionably acceptable with amateur riders. We also will be covering the results from the Supercross in Indy, giving predictions on Daytona, and talking about the reinstatement of points the AMA originally fined Ricky Carmichael for the illegal fuel. Its going to be an informative and hopefully entertaining show so be sure to tune in!
