SoCal is gnarly when it comes to motocross in the summertime. With a great number of top professionals living in the area, many of the tracks are populated with elite-level riders during the week. On Tuesdays, Perris Raceway combines the main and vet tracks to form one long track for top riders to train and test on. Yesterday marked GEICO Honda rider Wil Hahn’s return to riding, and he was joined by a cast of others that included Davi Millsaps, Jason Anderson, Cooper Webb, Nick Wey, Brett Metcalfe and more.
Brett Metcalfe came out with his Monster Energy Kawasaki mechanic Dana Wiggings to run through some different suspension settings and Dunlop tires.
Tuesday was only Davi Millsaps’ second time on his new Monster Energy Kawasaki, but he looked right at home.
Jason Anderson was on hand and riding his Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna TC450. Seems like locally, we’ve seen Jason riding his Husky more than his KTM.
Cooper Webb is hoping to gain ground on his Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha teammate Jeremy Martin this weekend in Unadilla.
