FRIDAY NIGHT ACTION
On Friday at the start of the main events everyone was ready to go. Darcy Lange jumped out to an early lead but soon fell on the first lap and it was all Tyler Bowers from there. He worked his way through the pack and took the first main event win, while teammate Zach Ames finished 5th.
In the 450 main on Friday Darcy Lange again pulled the holeshot and took off. Tyler came out of the start around 10th but didn’t stay there for long. He immediately started his charge to the front showing how bad he wanted that 50 large. Tyler worked his way into 2nd place and closed the gap on the leader but time ran out. Tyler was in control Friday night and would stay there all weekend. Teammate Zach Ames rode another consistent moto and finished 5th.
SATURDAY NIGHT ACTION
With Lange making an excellent comeback he was still in the hunt. Zach Ames continued to ride cautious and finished 5th.
Going into the final moto Tyler had to finish 5th or better to capture the $50,000 purse and he settled in to a 3rd place finish making him the winner! Zach Ames finished right behind Tyler in 4th and captured 3rd place on the weekend taking home $10,000.
Tyler Bowers and Zach Ames would like to thank all of their sponsors Team Manager Tim Bowers mechanics Dave Strausbaugh and Zac Petterson. The Bookoo Series was definitely dominated by the MDK speed equipment team throughout the series and in the US Open.
