What # Should Dungey Choose?

Now that Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey is a National Champion, he has the chance to choose a single-digit number. Yes, he can choose to remain number 10, but he also has the choice of 5 and 6. He has to choose soon, but has not made up his mind. He is leaning towards 6, but also likes 5… but 10 is good too. As number 10, Dungey continues Ernesto Fonseca’s legacy (which he has Fonseca’s blessing). Mike LaRocco is number 5, and Steve Lamson was number 6. What do you guys think? What number should Dungey choose???

I like the 338 comment, very funny, but I think #6 would be killer. 10 is cool for Ernie though too. Looking fwd to a GREAT season that hopefully stubba hubba bubba doesn't run away with.

nope. suzuki wanted to see which number looked fastest. so they tried each one and made him hit the exact same line, same posture, with the same degree of throttle twist to minimize any possible error that could have made one number look faster than the other.

i vote number 6. reason one… even if fonseca gave him a blessing to run 10, i didnt like seeing dungey run it especially when he switched to answer and had the same font that fonseca had on his jerseys. reason dos… i really dont want to see him run 5 either because he wouldnt fill it out half as well as lorocco. and last but certainly not least..6 is one third of the three 6's that is often associated with the devil, and i think dungey is part devil

5 still feels too much LaRocco to me. 6 would be alright, it definitially looks good and (no offense to Lamson) is the number I personally associate the least with a rider at this point in time. But there's nothing wrong with staying with the 10 either, especially if Fonsaca is cool with it.
