We’re in the final hours of the 2016 Geneva SX, the last big offseason Supercross event in Europe before all attention turns back to the United States. Saturday afternoon was filled with one quick practice session for the both the SX1 and SX2 divisions, and aside from a short scuffle between Thomas Ramatte and Khounsith Vongsana, things were rather subdued in Switzerland. Marvin Musquin posted the quickest lap of the day, while Justin Brayton found his form and was just a tick off of the clock. Arnaud Tonus, racing his only SX event of the year with the Wilvo Yamaha team, took third place just ahead of Cedric Soubeyras, Malcolm Stewart, and Justin Barcia. Tonight’s main event will determine the King of Geneva honors and if the race is anything like last night’s, it’ll be a duel all the way to the checkered flag.
