2017 BUDDS CREEK MX | COMPLETE COVERAGE

Racer X Online is reporting that Joey Savatgy will sit out the motos at the 2017 Budds Creek MX due to a foot injury. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider went down in the final timed qualifying session of the morning and was aided off the track by the Alpinestars Mobile Medical staff and his mechanic.

Savatgy initially suffered the injury during contact with a lapped rider last weekend in Moto One of the 2017 Unadilla MX. Despite the run-in, Savatgy was able to win the moto and finished fourth in the Moto Two for second overall on the day. Coming into Budds Creek, Savatgy is third overall in the championship standings.

With Savatgy now on the sidelines alongside PC teammates Austin Forkner and Justin Hill, the team has only Adam Cianciarulo on the track this weekend.
