The 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series continues its march with the 2017 Indianapolis SX, round eleven of the seventeen-stop schedule. A historic city for the SX series, we’ve seen plenty of incredible races at the long-gone RCA Dome and the current, state of the art Lucas Oil Stadium. This is one round that the every involved in the sport has anticipated for weeks because the soft Midwestern soil will certainly be a huge factor in the timed race format that was introduced for 2017. How could we forget how challenging last year’s visit to Indianapolis turned out to be for the top riders in the world?
Since the Lucas Oil Stadium has relatively tight floor space, Feld Motorsports and Dirt Wurx have crammed all they could into the layout for this weekend with eight lanes, a few tight turns, and a finish line that will send riders up and over the entry of the first turn. Take a look at the digital renderings.
Want to watch the race? If you live the United States and have a TV, then you should have no issues finding the broadcast because it’ll play on your local FOX station. Yeah, the same one that plays your local news.
