Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger has released an update on his condition after a hard crash at the 2017 Southwick MX. Plessinger went down while chasing Alex Martin for the top spot midway through the first moto of the 250, then landed directly on his head and neck. He was able to get off of the track on his own, but immediately looked to be in pain and was quickly tended to by the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit. After further evaluation, it was determined that Plessinger had received a concussion and a sore neck, and he sat out the second moto of the day.
The 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will take this coming weekend off, which will allow Plessinger a chance to recover before the series resumes with round eight, the 2017 Spring Creek MX.
Well as most of you know I crashed pretty hard yesterday and I hit my head pretty good.. thankfully nothing was seriously hurt, just a concussion and a sore neck but other than that I’m good. A few days off and we will be ready to go at Millville! Thanks to everyone for the support 👍🏻 PC: @mikevizerphoto
