The JGR MX Web site has officially posted the news that recent amateur graduate, Christian Craig will take Josh Grant’s place on the North Carolina-based Yamaha team until Josh recovers from his injuries sustained at the X Games. Craig made his pro debut at the X-Games where he finished an impressive eighth just behind his father’s (former Kawasaki, Honda of Troy, and Factory Yamaha rider Mike Craig) old competitor, Jeremy McGrath, in the Super X Men’s final. Although they have not specified which Nationals Craig will be participating in, it is assumed that he will make his AMA Pro Racing debut this weekend at Unadilla along with several other recent amateur grads.
