Huntington Beach, Calif. – April 29, 2011 – Acorn Woods Communications is proud to announce their new relationship with Dubya USA. Dubya, founded in Southern California by Kristin White Anderson, is the exclusive importer for Talon Hubs and Sprockets for North America. Kristin, daughter of White Brothers founder/owner Tom White, is very experienced with this high-end product line.
“We are excited about our new relationship with Acorn Woods,” Kristen explained. “They have a lot of experience in promoting motorsports companies which is great for a new company like ours.”
Dubya will distribute Talon hubs, sprockets and footpegs, and will partner with Excel, DID and Bulldog to provide quality rims and spokes for their line of customizable wheelsets. The website, expected to launch the first week in May, will soon provide a consumer directory of dealers who supply Talon performance parts. The site will also expand to feature a build-your-own-wheelset function. This will allow customers to create fully customized professional level wheels.
A racing division has already been established, headed by long time industry veteran, John Anderson. John spent 20+ years with White Brothers and was most recently with QTM where he was Director of Marketing for QTM/Brembo Off-Road/ SuperMoto Brakes along with Marchesini SuperMoto Wheels. Many race teams and high profile racers use Talon products, including Chad Reed of Two-Two Motorsports, Hart & Huntington, Troy Lee Designs, Butler Brothers, Valli Yamaha, Suzuki City, JDR/KTM, Ronnie Renner, Mike Mason, Jeremy Stenberg and more.
