March 11, 2008 – Round 10 of Supercross took place this past Friday night at Daytona International Speedway. DVS’ Kevin Windham and Trey Canard came out victorious in what was described as some of the worst track conditions ever.
It was raining and muddy with standing water on most of the track. Windham said it was the most brutal and gnarly race conditions he’s ever experienced. Mud aside, Daytona is one of the most prestigious races of the Supercross series and it’s a part of Bike Week which draws hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists from around the world, making this win extra special for Windham. It was also his 14th career win!
The Rookie Trey Canard is having an unbelievable start to his first year racing Supercross. The Torco Racing Fuels Honda team rider is on his third consecutive Lites win!
Congratulations Kevin and Trey! Next up is Minneapolis, MN. Check supercross.com for details.
