The 2013 TransWorld Motocross SLAM Festival Powered by Rockstar Energy is ready to go. Held this Saturday, October 12th, at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park, the free to the public event will once again bring motocross to masses and have something to entice every kind of fan, from the casual follower to the dedicated weekend rider. The TransWorld Motocross SLAM Festival has become a part of Southern California’s motocross culture, and we are excited to show the growth of this year’s event with the open track riding, a Kid’s Learn-To-Ride program, vendor row, raffle and prize giveaways, Rockstar Energy FMX Show with Metal Mulisha riders, and the TransWorld SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race.
Saturday begins with all tracks opening to the public at 8:00 AM, and sessions are separated by skill levels (Mini/Women/Beginner, Novice, Intermediate/Pro) for all ages to enjoy an equal amount of time of the courses. Inside the Kid’s Learn-To-Ride area, hosted by Coach2Ride, the next generation of motocross stars will get their start. Young riders will be outfitted in a set of gear, hop on a bike, and receive coaching on the basics by the staff of instructors. All tracks will close in preparation for the SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race, with riding on the Main track stopping at 2:00 PM, and the Vet and Kid’s Learn-To-Ride tracks stopping at 3:00PM.

2013 TransWorld Motocross SLAM Powered by Rockstar Energy VET TRACK SCHEDULE
The SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race will begin at 3:00PM, and once again includes the sport’s fastest up and coming riders dueling for a hefty purse, the SLAM belt, and the cover of our December issue. This year’s roster is as stacked as ever, and includes Cole Seely, Darryn Durham, Tyler Villopoto, Matt Georke, Cooper Webb, and Justin Hoeft. These talented racers will battle one-on-one through the bracketed format, with the fastest meeting in the three-man final round. Who will join the likes of Dean Wilson, Justin Bogle, and Wil Hahn as a SLAM champion? Be at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park this Saturday to find out.
It would not be a motocross event without the inclusion of the freestyle motocross, and the Rockstar Energy FMX Shows with the Metal Mulisha will have the best FMX riders flying through the air during each demo session. Catch Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Derek Garland, and more during the three shows taking place on Saturday at 10:30AM, 12:15PM, and 2:00PM.
There is plenty to see between laps on the track, jumps through the air, and the SLAM Head-to-Head Pro Race at the TransWorld Motocross SLAM Festival, including the sport’s biggest brands on vendor row. At each display, visitors will see the latest bikes, products, and gear, and have the chance at leaving with a number of prizes through the raffles and giveaways taking place all day. Stop by each of the 50 vendors on Saturday and see what’s new in motocross.
This year’s vendors are: 6D Helmets, Asterisk, Bell Helmets, Bill’s Pipes, Bull Taco, Deft Family, Escondido Cycle Center, etnies, FMF Racing, Hinson Clutch Components, Langston Motorsports, Leatt-Brace, Lockstraps, Maxima, Metal Mulisha, Moto-Gate, MTA, No Fear, No Toil, ODI, ONE Industries, Rockstar Energy, Soloshot, Split Designs Co, Surface Sun Systems, Temecula Motorsports, Thor, Toyota of Escondido, TransWorld Motocross, Troy Lee Designs, VonZipper, Walter’s Mercedes Benz, and X103.9.

All that is missing from this weekend’s event at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park is you. We hope that you will join us for another incredible day at the track.
