Cypress California, July 29, 2009 – Yamaha Motor Corp. is proud to announce the recent signing of Matt Goerke to fill in for the injured Josh Hill under the Factory Yamaha tent starting at the Unadilla National on August 15, 2009. Goerke will race a Factory YZ450F at the Unadilla and Budds Creek rounds of the AMA Outdoor National series, with the possibility of finishing out the 2009 AMA Outdoor season.
“The timing couldn’t have been better for this to happen. Because of the break I’ve had plenty of time to test and get comfortable on the bike and I have to say it is awesome. I can’t wait to see what I can do at the races”, said an obviously excited Matt Goerke.
“Matt has shown that he has the speed to run near the front of the pack in the 450 class and we’re looking forward to working with him at these next few rounds”, said Team Manager Jim Perry.

2010 ktm ? have you seem it its like the 09 bike ? i even sat down in Uddevalla of SWEDEN gp and asked their factory mechanic if their will be a linkage on the 010 bike and they said no, not even a new frame for the 010 <– the 010 is actually equal to the 09 some minor changes so i dont really think the 2010 will kick ass! cause north americas KTM MDK have not won a main event in sx or mx yet, still its a good bike but the 2011 we will see some differents maybe even a linkage and EFI. So stop b.s talking

the only reason matt got this ride was cause the #29 KTM 250SX of Joey Rossi has been training with him for the past few months! Just kidding, Matt, you worked your ass off and deserved this a long time ago! but im sure losing to i mean training with joey helped!
