Anaheim, Calif., (January 21, 2008) — In only his third career start, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Austin Stroupe earned his first career podium finishing third on the 1986 throwback layout at Angel Stadium. Stroupe started off quickly earning the holeshot and leading the first seven laps. His teammate Brett Metcalfe also got a good start and held on to finish fifth in Round 3 of the AMA Western Regional Supercross Lites Championship.

In the Monster Energy® Supercross, an FIM Championship, Timmy Ferry went to the back of the field on the first lap when a rider fell in front of him, but the veteran rider rode a great race to finish sixth.
