When professional motocross racers retire, many often find jobs working within the industry. Whether it be as team managers, trainers, or even riding coaches, staying involved in the sport is a natural progression for many. After many years racing the premier MXGP class for the factory Honda, KTM, and Aprilia teams, Switzerland’s Julien Bill won the 2011 FIM MX3 World Championship as a privateer and became the first Swiss World Champion.
Since retiring in 2015, Bill has been giving motocross lessons for a living, but he is also an entrepreneur! I got an e-mail from Bill last week and in it, he said, “I stopped my pro racing career two years ago and I now give riding lessons for a living. The reason I'm writing you today is because I've been working on sweet project that I thought you may find cool. As we are all intense internet users those days and we all love to “geek ” on social networks, I've created an Apple App (for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch) called “Moto Emoji” with cool stickers that u can add to your iMessage or SMS text. When the next iOS update comes next month it will work also on stuff like Facebook and Instagram, etc.
“I really thought we needed something like that for the MX community as it still doesn't exist really! It includes MX, SX, road racing, Enduro and some parts/tools. There is 191 already, but even more stickers will come with the next update too!”
