CANELINHA (BRAZIL), 13 September 2009 – Two years after leaving the UEM EMX2 series with a bitter fourth, 19-year-old Musquin made up for it by grasping this year’s MX2 World Title which remains with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team after Tyla Rattray’s win last season.

The season of the young Frenchman was distinguished by several important achievements such as his maiden podium appearance (Faenza), his maiden GP win and pole (both at Sevlievo). Though he had a troublesome switch from Honda to KTM, which forced Musquin off the Swedish GP, he made up for with a strong end of the season and the eventual Title.

Dude missed GP due to contract problems and is still the Champ. This kid is the future. Not even GOAT had a rep like this. If he comes to the AMA watch out

Honda should feel bad for losing a championship. Should have been nicer to him in the begining. KTM got a great rider mid way through the season
