Nate Adams’ 2009 Yamaha YZ250F race bike is for sale. This is the bike that Nate used for Supercross earlier this year, and only has roughly a couple hours of time on it. The bike also has motorwork done by Keith Burns of Yamaha of Troy as well as Enzo suspension and countless other trick parts. The asking price is $6,500. If you’re interested, please email Nate at nateadamsbike@gmail.com.
The motor has work done internally by Keith Burns and 1110 Modifications and an FMF MegaBomb header with 4.1 Muffler.
The bike also has tons of extras including new wheels and carbon fiber guards.

thats a good price, its a bummer it has to be so low after all the money put into it. its like all bikes, my 06 RM250 brand new was 6000, now i could maybe get 2500 for it.

that seat cover aint working with that grafix kit. but other than that, it looks awesome. is nate hard up for cash or something? why not do a promotional give-away with transworld mx…? give it to some lucky punter.

because he"s not just gunna just throw away almost 7 grand. and plus he probably wants the new 2010. the 09 is the old style. nate's gottuh stay updated! hahaha plus the new yz"s look so sick! think how badass the 2010 will look when he's done with it!

I think you are confused. I have never seen an uglier bike than the 2010 yz250f. And i have not come across a single person yet who actually likes the way it looks… until you. I'm sure it won't be a horrible bike overall, but man that thing is insanely ugly. Poor yamaha riders.

The giant cable lock running through it is a nice touch.

September 4th, 2009 at 5:23 pm
i have a feeling that bike is gonna go for a lot more than 6500…unless he's taking the first offer. otherwise its gonna end up like an auction

Can it be run with 94 octane gas?

September 5th, 2009 at 3:04 am

September 7th, 2009 at 2:52 pm
Maybe if you had like a 40-42 rear sprocket with a pretty good run to gain speed.
September 9th, 2009 at 1:56 am

September 10th, 2009 at 2:25 am
hahahahahaha!!!
September 10th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
first no he doesnt have to pay for his bikes obviously since he's sponsored by yamaha this is only one of about 10 to 15 bikes he gets a year now why he is allowed to sale this one im not sure i would think that yamaha of troy would want someone checking out the engine work they have done to it.
September 11th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
thats weird my 02 yamaha can do that hahaha
September 14th, 2009 at 8:29 am

September 18th, 2009 at 12:26 pm

September 20th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
I'm sure Nate had to buy this bike….Josh Hill bought his own 450 a couple of years ago when he was on 250Fs so he could show Keith McCarthy how much better he could ride it. Chad Reed also said that Yamaha made him buy his own TTR90s a few years ago. You have to remember that Nate is contracted to compete in FMX. If Yamaha gave him that bike it why not throw in Kayaba Kit suspension, or a Factory Motor? Also you notice all Yamaha factory bikes adhere to the same strict graphics colors. He probably got a good deal on this bike, but he definitely had to pay something. Nate runs pro circuit suspension and pipes on his FMX bikes too…notice what hes running on this. He got some hook ups, but it wasn't his factory deal i'm sure.

Well, I have ridden that bike and it's pritty slow. No wonder he's trying to unload it. I bet he'll only get about $3500 for it; thats my best offer.
