ODI Grips becomes the Official Grip of Mammoth Motocross
Riverside, CA – ODI Grips is pleased to announce that they have been selected as the Official Grip of Mammoth Motocross and the Road to Mammoth qualifier series. With a long-standing tradition of making quality American made products ODI dates it’s history back to the late 70’s when they were manufacturing the Mushroom grips.
In 2009 ODI attended Mammoth Motocross to show their support for their amateur riders. The week brought a new team rider to ODI. After crashing in his first practice, Red Bull JAMS rider, Cooper Webb was given a pair of ODI Lock-On grips to try during his next practice. Cooper loved the grips and agreed to be part of the team. He ended up getting second overall in the 150 class.
“The experience with Cooper at last years Mammoth Motocross was what the Lock-On Grip System was created for. Most amateurs don’t have a toolbox full of bars with grips already mounted on them, but when something happens and you need to get back on the track, you can’t waste time with glue and wire,” ODI Motocross Marketing Manager Kevin Stevens said. “With the Lock-On Grips system you can install quick and be confident that your grips are not going to twist or slip.”
ODI Grips is excited to partner with Mammoth Motocross and the new Road to Mammoth qualifier format created by 2Xpromotions. They will be on hand to offer rider support at all of the qualifier events as well as the entire 10 days of Mammoth Motocross.
ODI is no stranger to Mammoth Mountain, you’ll see ODI grips on every mountain bike in the mountain’s summer bike park rental fleet. ODI Grips can also be seen on the bikes of top AMA teams, Troy Lee Designs Honda, MotoConcepts Yamaha, and Factory Services KTM. For more information, please visit www.odigrips.com
