Up until RedBud, it had been almost two years since we’ve seen Christian Craig race a dirt bike on a National track. Craig had suffered multiple injuries to his wrist throughout his career, and after injuring it again at the Las Vegas Supercross back in 2013, he made the tough decision to retire, move to Minnesota with his wife (his fiancé at the time), and start a new life away from a sport. Well, he’s back (sort of), and with the support of the GEICO Honda team, Christian Craig has returned to motocross as a part-timer for four rounds, which started last weekend in Buchanan, Michigan. In his first race back, Craig rode to 14-14 moto scores for 14th overall, and we had the opportunity to talk with him for a few minutes before the racing had even started.
