In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
This morning, we caught up with Dean Wilson as he gave his 2017 Yamaha YZ450F one final shake-down before lining up at this weekend’s Anaheim 1 SX as a privateer. The former 250 National Champion has suffered a string of knee injuries that have kept him from showing his true potential throughout the past three seasons, and that – in turn – left him without a ride for 2017. Rather than waiting around for a fill-in ride when the inevitable injuries in our sport happen, Wilson has set out to prove his worth by fielding a privateer machine out of his family’s Sprinter Van. We can’t wait to cheer for the likable Scot this Saturday!
