Road to Mammoth Motocross heads to Owyhee Motorcycle Club

Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Motocross heads to Owyhee Motorcycle Club, 6600 Cartwright Road, Boise, Idaho, March 25-27, 2011.

Established in 1940, Owyhee Motorcycle Club in Boise, Idaho is proud to be chosen as Round 4 of 6 in the Monster Energy Road to Mammoth Motocross Qualifiers in a two-day racing format. Round 4 is the only qualifier held outside the state of California and will allow racers around the Pacific Northwest and beyond to earn a spot in the gates for the Mammoth Mountain MX Championships June 16-20 at Mammoth Mountain, California.
Those racing in Idaho will be the first to ride the newly designed “summer” track with various elevation changes. We also have a recently designed “winter” sand track prepped and ready if extensive precipitation is received. No matter what the weather brings us in Idaho, we’re race ready!
Paid public practice will be held on Friday, March 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27, gates open at 5:00 a.m.; rider’s meeting/practice begins at 8:00 a.m. with great racing to follow. Overnight camping will be available at OMC.
