Calif. – DC congratulates Travis Pastrana on the premiere of his documentary film “199 Lives”, which is set to make a limited showing on April 16 and 17, in more than 400 movie theatres nationwide. Named the Best Action Sports Film at the X- Dance Action Sports Film Festival in January 2008, “199 Lives” is filled with breath-taking, action-packed footage from Travis’ motocross and rally career. Pastrana fans will receive an insider view into the life of the action sports legend, as well as the exclusive, special feature of Travis’ “Top 10 Moments.”
“It is rare for an athlete to come along and make such an impact on a sport, let alone two sports like Travis has done. ‘199 Lives’ going to theaters is quite an honor and only further solidifies Travis as the legend he is today. Directed by Greg Godfrey of Godfrey Films, and produced by Jeremy Rawle of Wasserman Media Group, “199 Lives” starts from the beginning of Travis’ career in 1987 when he received his first motorcycle. It continues on to take viewers through all the Gold Medals, double back flips, world records, and international fame he has earned along the way.
Audience members will also be treated to bonus footage of Travis’ “Top 10 Moments” throughout his career, which will be shown exclusively during the two-night in-theatre event. Travis personally chose each of the unforgettable moments from thousands of his greatest feats, including his infamous double back flip.
