Round two of the El Dorado Series, presented by SPY, brought us to the prominent Perris Raceway right here in Southern California. The sun was out and the skies were clear, which is something that we So.Cal residents haven’t seen seemingly all year, as the surrounding areas have seen more rain in recent weeks than they have over the last decade. The day consisted of perfect riding conditions and a huge field of determined racers that made for another exciting day at the races. The TWMXRS filled the Perris Raceway parking lot to the limit, as over 600 of So.Cal’s premier racers showed up to battle for the top spot.

The rough track conditions made for some great battles, as several of the Kawasaki Team Green riders put on a show in the Open 85/150F Supermini and Big Wheel Open 85/150F classes. Stilez Robertson, Dilan Schwartz and Jett Reynolds all battled for the top spot in just about every moto they lined up for, but Robertson was able to ultimately claim a total of five moto wins that earned him overalls in Big Wheel Open 85/150F and 125cc Open.

Stilez Robertson earned himself an impressive five moto wins at round two of the El Dorado Series, presented by SPY.

Preston Kilroy was able to capitalize on the mistakes of the Team Green boys in Open 85/150F/Supermini and was rewarded with the overall along with a second overall win in 14-16 85/150F.

Preston Kilroy rode smooth and smart at Perris Raceway against the Team Green boys and he was awarded with the overalls in Open 85/150F Supermini and 14-16 85/150F.

Garrett Marchbanks was another Team Green rider to have a successful day of racing, as he made his impression felt in not one, not two, but three very competitive classes; 250 Intermediate, 450 Intermediate and Schoolboy (Thru 17). The number 82 was on a heater all day long and claimed a total of six moto wins equalling three overalls. Another perfect day of racing for Marchbanks.

Team Green Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks logged another undefeated day at the races, as he swept a total of six motos for three overalls in 250 Intermediate, 450 Intermediate and Schoolboy.

Another rider to go undefeated on the day was KTM’s Enzo Lopes. This 17 year old prodigy hails from Brazil and is a serious threat anytime he’s on the racetrack. Lopes-who currently trains with Brett Metcalfe-put on an absolute show once the gate dropped, as he went on to take both moto wins in 250 Pro and Pro-Open (125-450).

Brazil’s Enzo Lopes also rode to an undefeated day, as the number 16 claimed the overall wins in 250 Pro and Pro-Open. Not bad for a 17 year old!

Thanks to all who joined at Perris Raceway for round two of the El Dorado Series, presented by SPY, and we’re looking forward to doing it all again at Milestone MX on February 26th. In the meantime though, CLICK HERE for information regarding the upcoming Annual TWMX Trans-Am that’s set to return to Glen Helen Raceway on February 10-12. See ya there!
