Here is the latest scoop we have on Chad Reed:
Reed returned from the emergency room, where he was introduced in the opening ceremonies, however, he looked to be favoring his right arm. The Australian native did line up for his heat race in an endeavor to salvage the evening. Within three laps, Chad pulled off the track, favoring his injured arm. The 2004 Supercross champion has been spitting up a lot of blood throughout the course of the day, and it is clear that he is injured.
We are unsure if he will see the number 22 machine return for the LCQ, or even line up for the main event, but we will keep you posted as we hear more.
