The Annual SLAM Festival is one of the many events that we at TransWorld MX look forward to each year, but the fun never seems to last as long as we’d like – especially when it comes to the SLAM Pro Race. There was a lot of excitement coming into this year’s SLAM, as several heavy hitters from the amateur and professional ranks lined up to do battle for $5000 and the coveted SLAM Championship Belt. When it was all said and done though, it was RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Factory Racing Suzuki’s Jake Weimer who came out on top with Dean Wilson finishing close in second and Nick Schmidt rounding out the podium. For one more look at last weekend’s action from Milestone MX, check out this photo gallery.
