With Hurricane Bill knocking on the door down here in Maryland, the AMA wisely chose to shorten practice to just one session per group. Showers on Friday evening made for a muddy mess of a track in the first few practices. But soon enough, the sun was shining, and by the final session, the track had shaped up quite a bit. In the 450 Class, Chad Reed topped the lap times with a 2:31.34 followed by the most recent Monster Energy guest rider, Jake Moss with a 2:33.84. In the 250 Class, Chrstophe Pourcel had the best lap with a 2:30.64, which was over two seconds faster than Ryan Dungey in second. Although considering the shifting track conditions, the practices could mean little come race time.

Why are you guys so slow at posting race reports? Is it because Chad is throwing one hell of a celebration or some sort of weird govt. info transfer barrier or what? Pick your game up a little bit.

I cant understand how Moose leaves their sponsored rider left hung out to dry with no pants, with live race coverage, and on top of it , he makes the podium and is on national TV with someone else's gear. I think i would be a little peeved at Moose and the rider rep should be looking for a new job.
