I often wonder what a professional racer thinks when they are on the track, day in and day out. At some point, it must become mundane to turn laps on a track that only a few could ever master, aboard a bike that others dream of riding. What happened in the past only matters so much and instead they remain focused on what lays ahead in the next section of the track or during the next race weekend.
