In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
In a few weeks, a slew of other young riders will start their pursuit of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series 250 East Coast Regional Championship. This year’s roster of riders for the cold East Coast seems pretty stacked and has a huge contrast in age and experience. Will a wise veteran outlast the young guns over the long weeks of racing, or will a newcomer claim the top spot? We’ll find out soon enough.
One rider that’ll be hard to miss on the East Coast is Benny Bloss. Now a second-year pro in Supercross, Bloss is set to race a Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/WPS/KTM 250 SX-F, the first time that the team has fielded a factory-supported small bore bike. The Midwest native was a surprise in 2016 and could be a podium contender this time around.
